The Committee Chairs are volunteers who perform services for the Intergroup to help carry the message of OA. They are elected in May and serve 1 year terms, with the exception of the Public Information Chair and the Volunteer Coordinator who serve 2 year terms.Nomination forms must be submitted at least 15 days in advance of the May Intergroup meeting.

Qualifications and Eligibility
A. The committee chairpersons and committee treasurers as elected need not be members of the Intergroup Representatives
B. Those elected must have at least six (6) months of current abstinence from compulsive eating, and must have continuous abstinence throughout the term(s). Each person shall be the sole judge of his/her abstinence from compulsive eating.
C. These qualifications shall be met except for reasons the sufficiency of which shall be decided by the voting body of Intergroup.
