Hope in the Heartland: Suggestions for Recovery
A big thanks to the 144 OA members from six states and Canada who traveled to Central Iowa, June 10-12th to carry the message of recovery and hope. Over 75 of attendees volunteered service in some capacity – carrying the message of “Service.” The generosity of basket donations for the silent auction overwhelmed us! Over 65 baskets came in from individual meetings throughout Region 4 for their 7th Tradition contributions. Many reported that their program and their connections to other Region 4 folks was strengthened. Consider attending out next convention in 2018!

Region 4 is one of ten regions organized to serve communication between groups and intergroups within and between each region and OA worldwide.
Region 4 Mission Statement The mission of Region 4 is to make OA known throughout the Region so that anyone with the desire to stop eating compulsively may find an OA group, and provide support so that any OA member can have recovery from compulsive eating through the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Overeaters Anonymous.
